So this weekend was wonderful.  Friday was the last day of my on call shift so at 12 I went home and took a nice long nap.  At 8:30 on Friday I watched the first show my brother did story boards for on the cartoon network.  It was actually really cute.  Then later that night Matt and I went to the Beta house in an attempt to get drunk.  For some reason no matter how much I drank I could not seem to feel it.  Not really sad about that.  Did hear some funny things and thought I would just throw this in 1 it is non of your business and it is not your place 2 Once you are a memeber you are out of the running for other one.  Matt on the other hand got drunk and when he is drunk he says the cutest things.  Last weekend it was "it is so god damn fucking hot in here" and this weekend it was "I told Jacob we are going to be brother-in-laws". 

Saturday we woke up and went to Matt's parents house to get his stuff to go to my friends wedding.  We sat with his parents on their patio and talked.  The stories that they tell me about Matt are so cute, I really like them.  Then Matt and I went to my home town to go to my friends wedding.  It was small but nice.  My parents took us to dinner after the wedding and Matt got to meet my dad.  It was nice I think that matt and my dad are a lot alike.  Today we went to lunch and then to the mall to shop.  After shopping went to his parents house again and hung out with them and then went for a walk.  It was a really great weekend.  Glad to be home and have things back to normal for a while.

WORK WORK WORK

I am posting at work because I just got done learning the adoption process and thought that I would take a little break before doing more logs.  Went and watched the girls last night and they did a great job.  I was so proud of all of them they totally did an awesome job.  I don't want to say they have it for sure until I see the rest of the plays (your taking home the drome girl).  Sat next to Amy during the whole thing and I forgot how much I love sitting with the girls at things and showing the pride (Amy is a pro at cheering/ drawing attention to "phi unit" but that is why we love her.)  I wish that I could be outside right now.  I hear that it is so nice out but of course I really would not know being as I am sitting in my cubical.

Ashley:  you did awesome last night I was so proud of my roomie.  Now that hippo is almost over maybe you wont be so busy and we will be able to the AIRWOLF?  I know I am a loser that usually just goes to bed but for you I will try to stay up.  I can always look right?

Andie:  The bull or the bowl? 

Amy:  I am alive yo

Ladies:  I will be there with bells on for the Saturday performance (assuming I do not get paged for work)

SO i have not posted in a while I still don't know that I have much to say.  Lets see where to start.  I LOVE my job.  Youthville is a great place to work so for those of you who are in social services and are looking for a job to get you started I would encourage you to look into working for Youthville.  I started dance and I love that too.  Oh My God I forgot how much of a workout hip hop is, i hurt so bad last Monday and Tuesday that i could hardly walk.  It is one of the most interesting classes it is located in the back of a wearhouse that refills ink for printers and the other people in the class are not what you would expect dancers to be.  My last day at Carlos was on Saturday and it kinda sucked it was super slow.  I also started my new job Saturday night with Jamee doing promotions for standard beverage.  I got to go to Indigo and America's Pub and promote Tattoo by Captain Morgan.  It was a lot of fun. 

Lets see what else do i have to share.  Matt is wonderful.  We have a great time every time we are together.  He is coming home with me in a couple of weeks to go to a friends wedding.  It ought to be interesting for him to meet my dad and my friends from back home.  Hopefully my friends are nice to him they sometimes can be asses.  You know those small town guys and see the girl next door that they grew up with with a guy that they don't know.  I am also excited to take him to see where i grew up.

Crazy Crazy

Ok so I think that all of my friends are going crazy.  From the looks of it most people are hating on each other which happens from time to time and sometime I think that it is needed in order to keep the friendships fresh.  From the looks of it though you all are going completely crazy.  I am not saying that is bad I love most all of you and you know that I am completely crazy most of the time.  So here is my reasoning for the resent events in my friends change in attitudes It is going to be a new moon on the 29th which means we are coming to an end of the phase of the moon known as Balsamic Moon and according to my research a new moon gives people and extra burst of creative energy and the Balsamic Moon in this phase it is all about Karma you are meant to finally end something that you started before.  So here is what I think all of that means for all of my wonderful friends.  For the Balsamic Moon you all are finally going to reap what you've sown so things might have been rough for a while and they might continue to be but sooner or later you are going to get what you deserve.  As for the New Moon your mind is racing with all of these thoughts and you have no place to put them into use so you use them for no good. 

Please do not burn bridges that you know you will want to have later.  It is harder to rebuild something on a foundation that has been scorched.  I love you all, but I am glad that I have my couch to bond with every night until bed.  I am a bum and if you need to be a bum too just come hunt me down.

Soon to be Meet the Fockers

So I met Matt's parents this weekend.  They invited me out to eat with them on their anniversary.  They were both super nice.  Matt looks a lot like his dad and acts quite a bit like his mother.  His mom asked me a lot of questions and Matt and his dad just kinda sat back and enjoyed the great food.  It was kinda funny don't know if Matt's dad knew exactly how much older than Matt I really was.  Really when you think about it a couple of years is really not that much but when you are a parent meeting you son or daughters girlfriend or boyfriend it seems liek a rather large gap i suppose.  Thinking about it meeting his parents was kinda like Meet the Parents and when he meets mine it will kind of be like Meet the Fockers.  My parents are kinda crazy when you really get to know them.  Well he says that his parents loved me and i hope that he is right because I know how much his parents oppinion means to him especially his moms so i really want them to like me.
